FUNDRAISER
This year's eigth annual fundraiser will be held November 11, 2009 at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. This year's featured designer is Andrew Hamilton Crawford, brought to us by Balliet's. Our featured patient speaker is Andrew Schopler, a United States District Attorney from San Diego, California. Event Co-Chairs are Lana Lopez and Jane Thompson. NAME CHANGE
We have officially changed our name from the Cardiac Arrhythmia Research Institute to the Heart Rhythm Institute (HRI) at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
CONGRATULATIONS
Dr. Warren Jackman, upon his retirement from the OU Health Sciences Center and his status as Professor Emeritus. Dr. Jackman will continue to work on research as a Senior Scientific Advisor to HRI.
Sunny Po, MD, PhD, upon being named Director of Clinical Electrophysiology at OUHSC and Associate Director of HRI. Dr. Po has also been promoted to Professor of Medicine at OUHSC.
Hiroshi Nakagawa, MD, PhD, upon being named Director of Translational Electrophysiology at OUHSC and Associate Director of HRI.
